GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS (GTC)

OCEAN Laundry Tisztítószalon Kft. – Laundry and Dry Cleaning Salon

1. GENERAL PROVISIONS AND SERVICE PROVIDER DETAILS

These GTC govern the legal relationship between OCEAN Laundry Tisztítószalon Kft. (Registered office: 1061 Budapest, Király utca 40 fsz. üh.3.; Tax number: 24967424-2-42; Represented by: Erzsébet Erdei), hereinafter referred to as the Service Provider, and the Customer.

  • 1.1. The Service Provider declares it possesses necessary professional expertise and permits.
  • 1.2. Ordering service implies the Customer has read and agrees to these GTC.

2. SUBJECT AND USE OF THE SERVICE

  • 2.1. Service includes wet washing, dry cleaning, and ironing of textiles and clothing.
  • 2.2. Service begins with garment handover. A Delivery Note is issued including item description, quantity, deadline, service type (Standard/Express), and pre-existing defects.

3. TECHNICAL CONDITIONS AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS

  • 3.1. Cleaning follows international care symbols sewn into garments.
  • 3.2. Items without legible care labels are cleaned only at the Customer's express request and risk.
  • 3.3. Service Provider may refuse items if cleaning risks damaging the garment.

4. LIABILITY AND COMPENSATION

  • 4.1. No liability for:
    • Hidden/manufacturing defects.
    • Damage to buttons, ornaments, zippers, etc.
    • Items left in pockets.
    • Stains that cannot be professionally removed (e.g., rust, mold).
  • 4.2. Compensation for proven improper handling is limited to 10 times the cleaning fee of the item.
  • 4.3. Natural wear and tear (fading, minimal shrinkage) is not eligible for compensation.

5. DEADLINES AND PRICING

  • 5.1. Standard turnaround: 3 business days.
  • 5.2. Express (In-salon): 100% surcharge for same-day (if handed in before 10AM); 50% for next-day.
  • 5.3. Express (Door-to-Door): Next-day only with 50% surcharge.
  • 5.4. Fees based on the current price list; prices include VAT.

6. COLLECTION AND COMPLAINTS

  • 6.1. Original Delivery Note required for collection.
  • 6.2. Complaints must be reported immediately on-site during collection.
  • 6.3. No complaints accepted after leaving the salon.

7. UNCOLLECTED GARMENTS

  • 7.1. Free storage for 30 days.
  • 7.2. Items uncollected after 90 days are considered abandoned and may be sold or donated.

8. DATA PROTECTION (GDPR)

8.1. Data (name, phone, room number) processed only for service fulfillment and contact.

9. CLOSING PROVISIONS

  • 9.1. Governed by Hungarian Civil Code (Ptk.) and consumer protection laws.
  • 9.2. Disputes settled amicably or via the court at the Service Provider's registered office.
